
ASEAN, or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, was established on 8 August 1967. It was formed to enhance political, economic, socio-cultural cooperation and peace among Southeast Asian countries. The ASEAN Charter, which came into force on 15 December 2008, became a legally binding agreement among the ASEAN Member States.

Kraftangan Malaysia is organizing the Virtuosity of Craftwork – Masterpiece of National Heritage Art Exhibition, showcasing the excellence and intricacy of craft art that reflects the culture and pride of Malaysia’s heritage. Each piece is a cultural treasure and a medium for the sustainability of the nation’s craft heritage.

In conjunction with the Coronation Ceremony of His Majesty the 17th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Ibrahim, the Department of Museums Malaysia has organized Raja Kita Exhibition which will take place from 26 July to 29 September 2024 at Gallery 1 and 2, Department of Museums Malaysia.
