The Celebration of International Museum Day 2008 was officiated by the Honorary Minister Dato' Seri Hj. Mohd. Shafie bin Hj. Apdal on Tuesday 20th May 2008, 8.30 am.
The launching ceremony was held at Department of Museums, Jalan Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.
