The catalogue was produced in conjunction with the Gemstones: Dazzling Beauties Exhibition held from August to September 2004. A total of 206 genuine and processed gemstones were displayed. As many as 37 jewellery items made of gemstones including the Selangor royal regalia were also exhibited. The information in the catalogue is accompanied with beautiful photographs. The explanation in the catalogue is in two languages: Malay and English.
