Malaysia is a nation rich with a plethora of cultural traditions inherited from peoples of diverse racial origins. Among this is a rich Malaysian heritage of traditional games and pastimes generally enjoyed by children and some designed specifically for adults. Children of all ages and communities engage in these games and pastimes making them a shared heritage of all Malaysians.
The TRADITIONAL GAMES AND PASTIMES exhibition aims to revisit the joy of traditional games and pastimes that are progressively being forgotten by the younger generation of today. Besides this, the exhibition also aims to reintroduce and nurture these traditional games and pastimes that have become a cultural heritage passed down through the generations.
