Muzium Negara (National Museum), known for being the respository of the nation's heritage has put together an exhibition on the handicrafts and cultural paraphernalia of the Orang Asli community in Malaysia. More than 400 collections of Orang Asli figurines and handicrafts are exhibited and documented in this catalogue. There have been many publications on the Orang asli and their arts and handicrafts, we believe this book will no doubt be most timely in the effort to document the crafts of this community which is slowly facing extinction. It would also be a priceless reference materials for the future generation.
