Replica of Gold Rubber Tree

Natural rubber industry in Malaya began in 1877. The rubber business became one of the raw materials that generate important economic income in Malaya at that time. In 1903, the Association of Farmers Malayan Rubber has produced a souvenir which was a replica of rubber tree made of pure gold as a memento and a symbol of luxury of the rubbers production in the country administered by Malay kings at that time.
