Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa Muzium Sejarah Nasional yang terletak bersebelahan Dataran Merdeka akan dipindahkan ke Muzium Negara berkuatkuasa pada 1 November 2007. Justeru bangunan Muzium Sejarah Nasioanal yang terletak di 29, Jalan Raja,
