Auditorium Rental Facility

The Department of Museums rents out its auditorium for private functions to the public, the private sector and government departments/agencies.

Rental Rates and Method of Payment
a) Government departments/agencies: RM750.00 per day
b) Private/individuals: RM1,500.00 per day

Payment can be made in full by cash/LO/cheque in the name of: KETUA PENGARAH JABATAN MUZIUM MALAYSIA (Director-General of the Department of Museums of Malaysia), at least a week before the programme is held.

Facilities available at the auditorium of the Department of Museums of Malaysia:
a) Stage (measurement: 32 x 35 feet)
b) 1 screen (large) – (16 x 20) and 2 screens (small) – (13 x 8)
c) Set of stage lights – 48 channels
d) Rostrum – 2 (Malay / English)
e) 366 seats
f) LCD projector – 3 sets (left/ right/centre)
g) 1 set of CD / VCD / DVD / VHS / cassette player
h) 1 set of 16-channel mixer
i) Men’s and ladies’ changing rooms (separate)
j) Men’s and ladies’ toilets
k) Mic SM 58 – 9 sets
l) Set of clip mic – 8 sets / wireless mic / - 2 sets / headworn mic 2 sets
m) Banquet table 5 x 2 feet – 10 sets (with tablecloth)
n) Banquet chairs – 20
o) Stage curtains (centre and front)
p) Waiting room (special guests)
